"Unlike your conventional vintage bulb that bayonet-locks into the housing, the product from ClassicLEDs are twin circuit boards covered with hundreds of LEDs (that’s light emitting diodes if you’re not an electronics guy). The one we will be showing you here- a 1969 Charger application that was installed by Dave Hall and the guys at Restore-A-Musclecar in Lincoln, Nebraska- is 292 super bright 5mm red LEDs filling each side of the taillight lens with four times the light of an OEM bulb. Each PC board is white and fills the entire lens with light, giving a much improved appearance or a round LED replacement “bulb” containing less LEDs."
